Under the last-mentioned is one of the most eaten vegetables today – the “Green Ice Lettuce”. Among the other types of lettuce, Green Ice Lettuce is the sweetest in flavor and crispiest in texture.
This green leafy vegetable is an excellent source of essential nutrients and antioxidants such as Vitamin A, Vitamin K, Vitamin C, fibre, minerals, and phytochemicals among others. - Wash the lettuce in a basin or bowl of water.
- Dry it thoroughly by gently patting with paper towel.
